Sixteen years ago, we were both young, Since we were young and love was new, Innocence and inexperience we had, Led us down a path that we couldn't escape.

But life took us on different roads,

Now, after all these years have passed, We find ourselves reconnecting once again, And as I see you, my heart skips a beat, And I realize my love for you has never waned.

I may have wondered and searched, But seeing you now, I know the truth, That you are the one I've been waiting for, And I want to spend my life with you.

You are beautiful inside and out, Virtuous and strong, a woman of grace, And I want to hold you tight, To feel your warmth and see your face.

So let us take this trip of love together, In God's goodness and with His blessing, And may our love be as enduring As the years that we have spent confessing.

For I know that with you by my side, I can face whatever comes our way, And together we'll make our love Grow stronger with each passing day.
